We take cattle from Tarrant County for full USDA-inspected harvest and fabrication, at one flat fee of $850 for a whole animal or $450 for a half, with cut and wrap, vacuum sealing, and your weight report already included.
Because we run under federal inspection rather than custom-exempt, beef processed here can be legally sold by the cut: at farmers markets, to restaurants, or direct to your customers. If you’re building a brand in Tarrant County, that distinction matters.
Turnaround is 2–3 weeks from drop-off, which includes a full 14-day aging period.
Take Hwy 199, the Jacksboro Highway, northwest out of Fort Worth. It runs past Lake Worth and Azle straight into Springtown, and the plant is on the east side of town on 199 itself. From Keller or Saginaw, pick up 199 at Loop 820. About 40 minutes from downtown with a trailer.
Tarrant County beef comes to us in two forms. The first is small-acreage herds on the county's north and west edges, Haslet, Keller, and out toward Azle, where a family runs a few head and processes one a year. The second is show beef: the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo at Will Rogers Memorial Center is the biggest junior steer show in the region, followed a few weeks later by the Tarrant County Junior Livestock Show at the same grounds. Families and buyers who keep a steer rather than sending it to the packer make the 40-minute drive to us because the beef comes back USDA-inspected, which means it can be shared or sold.
