Fort Worth is full of restaurants, farmers markets, and buyers for half beefs. Because we run under USDA inspection, beef processed here can go to any of them legally. Private labels, GS1 barcodes, and portion cutting for restaurants are quoted separately.

Show steers handled right

Fort Worth Stock Show market steers show February 4 to 5, 2027, and the Tarrant County Junior Livestock Show follows weeks later. Families and buyers who keep a steer bring it to us; show animals get additional USDA residue screening at harvest, which we plan for.

One price, no per-pound surprise

$850 whole, $450 half, every fee included. A heavy show-finished carcass costs the same as a light one.

Getting here from Fort Worth

Take Hwy 199, the Jacksboro Highway, northwest from Loop 820. It runs past Lake Worth, through Azle, and straight into Springtown; the plant is on 199 on the east side of town. About 40 minutes from downtown with a trailer, less from Saginaw, Lake Worth, or Azle.

Who we see from Fort Worth

Tarrant County cattle come to us from the north and west edges of the metro, Haslet, Keller, Saginaw, and the acreages out toward Azle and Eagle Mountain Lake, where a family runs a few head and processes one a year. The other stream is show beef out of Will Rogers Memorial Center. And a growing third group is Fort Worth buyers who purchased a half beef from a rancher and want to know where it was processed; the answer they want to hear is a USDA plant with a public establishment number.

Where can I get a whole or half beef processed near Fort Worth?
Parker County Beef Processing in Springtown, about 40 minutes northwest of downtown on Hwy 199, under USDA federal inspection. Flat fee, $850 whole or $450 half.
Do you deliver processed beef to Fort Worth?
No. Pickup is at the plant in Springtown, and the beef comes out frozen and boxed, so the 40-minute drive is not a problem. For large commercial orders, call and we will talk through options.
I bought a steer at the Fort Worth Stock Show sale. Can you process it?
Yes. Get the release date from the show, call to hold a harvest slot, and tell us it is a show animal. We can split the beef between you and the exhibitor's family with a cut sheet for each half.
Can a Fort Worth restaurant have beef processed here?
Yes. Portion-cut steaks and case-ready boxes are quoted per project. Restaurants will want our inspection status, which is public: FSIS Establishment 2918.
